Absolutely love this place! The owner is a tall kind man. He has really shown what a great grocery store should look like.

The food the customer service everything is always great when I go to Red Apple in Ontario Oregon they have a good selection of foods fruits and vegetables and they're very kind polite and courteous been shopping at Red Apple for 15 years thank you bi

I was driving by and decided to stop in because there was a large sign that said "case sale" I really didn't know what to expect or what type of store I was walking into. It seemed like your average local grocery store. It didn't strike me as a chain grocery store. They had an OK selection of items for the size of the store. It was a bit cluttered and almost every single aisle had an obstacle in it and the isles were not super wide. Most long shelf life items especially if they were on sale or either out or very short supply. Prices were a little higher than Walmart but lower than Albertsons. I was surprised to find a decent selection of number 10 cans of freeze dried food at a price equal or slightly less to Walmart. Walmart is always out of stock so this was awesome! They also had Idaho cheese which I love and since I discovered it freezes well I'll always pick it up when I find it. Another happy find was a large package of bacon at a reasonable price. It's not something I need a A lot but given the current inflation I can foresee eating a lot of beans in there a lot tastier with some bacon in them! Best part of The experience was the cashier. She was speedy and very nice and was kind enough to ask me if I needed help out which my back was telling me I did!

l loved this store The owner was very welcoming there meat counter was something else l can t wait to go back lindajo from calie

Been going to red apple for over 30 yrs.great place to shop..great people and they care for their customers..Thank you red apple

Larry the owner is a class Act. He was working today on Thanksgiving. I had an issue with something and when he got on the phone you could FEEL that he REALLY cared about what was going on. He took care of it right away and even offered to drive something out to me. I was blown away. Really impressed with him and how he CARES and runs his business.

My favorite grocery store in Ontario. Locally owned, they are very responsive to requests for special orders.

When grocery shopping in Ontario, Oregon, there is really only one place you want to go for your groceries - Red Apple. It's not the most fancy or most modern business in the area, but it has the best selection of local meats with the best quality and lowest prices. They employ a good cross-section of the locals, who often go out of their way to help me with whatever it is I happen to need. One time a cashier went as far as to help pay a couple of bucks when I came up a little short (which saved me some embarrassment). The owner is a man of faith (I'm not entirely sure, but a Christian of some kind) who is not afraid to display uplifting messages within his store. With all of the "political correctness" in our society today, I find it refreshing that someone is forthright and bold enough to put this kind of a message out there in this way. I'm all for helping to support my local economy and local businesses whenever I can. Sure, you can go shop at Wal-Mart, might even save a few bucks, but you'd be giving your money to a soul-sucking corporation instead of contributing to your own community. I know that when I shop at Red Apple that I'm not only doing myself a favor, I am helping sustain the local way of life, local economy, and local people - good, hard-working people.
